Try these 8 suggestions if you are feeling mentally drained.

1. Take a Break

  • Step away from work, screens, or any mentally taxing activity.

  • Go for a short walk, preferably in nature.

  • Lie down and rest for 10–20 minutes.

2. Engage in a Low-Stimulation Activity

  • Read a light book or listen to calming music.

  • Do some deep breathing or meditation.

  • Take a warm shower or bath.

3. Move Your Body

  • Stretch, do some yoga, or engage in light exercise.

  • Go for a walk to clear your mind.

  • Try a quick workout if you have the energy.

4. Hydrate & Nourish Your Body

  • Drink water or herbal tea.

  • Eat nutrient-rich foods like fruits, nuts, or a protein-rich snack.

  • Avoid excessive caffeine or sugar.

5. Disconnect from Screens

  • Reduce social media or news consumption.

  • Turn off notifications and avoid overstimulation.

  • Engage in offline activities like journaling or drawing.

6. Do Something You Enjoy

  • Watch a lighthearted movie or TV show.

  • Play music or engage in a hobby.

  • Talk to a friend or loved one.

7. Practice Mindfulness

  • Try guided meditation or deep breathing exercises.

  • Write down your thoughts in a journal.

  • Focus on gratitude—list 3 things you're thankful for.

8. Sleep & Rest
