About
My name is Jamal Yousuf
I am a former marathon runner who has successfully recovered from six orthopedic surgeries on my knees and hips. While I no longer run, I remain active through low-impact activities like swimming and cycling. I created this blog to help others prevent injuries and promote wellness on a budget.

I hold a degree in Public Health and Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where I maintained top academic performance. I have also studied at Phillips Academy Andover and collaborated on public health and medical projects with UCLA and UCSF professors. Additionally, I was mentored by a Harvard-educated public health physician for several years.

This blog is not a substitute for professional medical advice. My goal is to share insights from my recovery journey to help others on their path to better health.
